Dear experts: Our company deals with steam condensate systems, and we need to select hot water pumps for these systems. We have used many hot water pumps in the past, but their performance has not been good – they leaked water and steam. Parameters: Head: 28~50 meters ; 2. Flow rate: 35 m³/h 3. Medium: Steam condensate ; Temperature: 140~180°C. Dear teachers, please recommend some manufacturers and brands. Domestic options are available, and although foreign ones offer better performance, their prices are too high and the delivery times are long.
How high is the import pressure? A regular centrifugal pump will do; the key is the selection of the mechanical seal. As long as cavitation does not occur, any manufacturer should be able to produce it

The inlet pressure is around 0.6 MPa, which results in cavitation
A regular centrifugal pump will do; just exhaust the air before starting the pump
The absolute vapor pressure of water at 180° is 1 MPA; this pump is primarily concerned with pressure resistance and net positive suction head.
Cavitation is the main problem; when the operating conditions cannot be changed, it is necessary to select an appropriate material for the flow-through components in order to enhance their resistance to cavitation damage. Increasing the net positive suction head of the pump and selecting an appropriate seal flushing scheme can effectively extend the service life of the mechanical seal. Or use a submersible pump, a bucket pump!
It is mainly cavitation caused by low inlet pressure. Most chemical process pumps with normal temperatures can meet the requirements.
We often have such problems too. Domestic hot water pumps are basically unusable. Chemical process pumps are also expensive. I still haven’t found one that’s suitable.
