After the centrifugal pump stops operating, there is significant vibration in its outlet pipeline; there seems to be abnormal clanking noises at the check valve, and the vibration is quite intense. What could be the reason for this? I would appreciate some guidance from those with more experience
When the pump is stopped, backflow occurs; be sure to check whether the pump is running in reverse. If it is, it indicates that the check valve is damaged. It is recommended to close the outlet valve first when stopping the pump
I checked the water pump and it’s not reversing; could internal leakage in the check valve cause such significant vibration?

It occurs during shutdown; it must be a problem with the outlet check valve. It is recommended to check it
During shutdown, the pressure at the pump outlet drops quite rapidly; a failure of the check valve or internal leakage can cause the fluid to flow in reverse. As a result, there will be sounds of the valve plate moving back and forth during the shutdown process. If possible, it is recommended to disassemble and inspect the valve.
