Cable dryers are widely used in the wire and cable industry as well as on production lines for cold cutting and granulating plastic strips. It is often used in conjunction with cooling tanks; when the material is extruded from the extruder, it passes through these tanks and thus contains a lot of moisture that needs to be dried. As the material moves through the dryer, a vortex air pump generates compressed air at a temperature higher than that of the surrounding environment, which is then used to force rapid airflow over the surface of the cable in order to dry out the moisture there. The fan power can be configured according to the customer’s requirements
