As shown in the picture, is the professional name of the soft connection between the fan inlet and outlet called a non-metallic expansion joint? Or is it a type of expansion joint?
This device should be called a pipe compensator. There is just a difference in material.
This is just a flexible connection. It is a connection method used to avoid misalignment of pipelines or displacement between pipelines. It is not suitable compared to expansion joints. We generally call it a soft connection here.
