At present, our company has 4 sewage pumps of the type 80ZWLPB40-25 (self-priming height: 7m). Currently, there are issues such as long pumping times, difficulty in starting the pump, and frequent seal replacements due to dirty medium. Do any of you sea friends have any good solutions?
It can be replaced with a submersible long-shaft pump, or a sealless self-priming pump
I’ve already checked; the self-priming height of WFB sealless self-priming pumps cannot reach 7 meters.
What if you try a submersible sewage pump?
The medium is sewage, and a self-priming height of 7 meters is required. A self-priming sewage lift pump manufactured by Liaoning Greit Pump Co., Ltd. can be used for this purpose. This pump utilizes a diaphragm-type mechanism to create a vacuum and thus draw up the water/sewage. There is no need to install a bottom valve on the inlet pipeline; after the pump is stopped, opening the air inlet valve at the outlet end allows the sewage inside the pump to flow back into the sewage tank, preventing any sediment from forming inside the pump. The unit I work at currently uses this type of pump, and its performance is quite good. Depending on the site conditions, it can be manufactured in either vertical or horizontal format.
It was considered, but maintaining the pump is very troublesome
