Issues regarding the installation of check valves at the pump outlet

A check valve is installed at the pump outlet; can a check valve with a diameter of DN200, which is slightly larger than the pipe diameter of DN150, be used?
I would appreciate some guidance from the teachers. There is a check valve that is currently unused, and I’d like to make use of it to save costs.

Then don’t you have to modify the connection flange and add tees? Will going through all this really save money? It doesn’t matter for water-based media, but this approach is not recommended for flammable and explosive media.
