What’s broken? Seal? Should I replace the pump casing instead? There’s not much to say about sealing – just remove it directly; the compression amount of the seal is usually sufficient once it’s properly installed. If the pressure value is not accurate, it needs to be adjusted to around 1.5-1.8. When replacing the pump casing, the coupling must be installed vertically; after the pump body is tightened, two dial indicators are attached to the two cam shafts. These indicators are used to measure the parallelism at the sealing surface – if there is any unevenness, copper shims are used to level it out ； A 0.15 shim can pass between the impeller and the pump body, and there is a gap of around 0.18 between the outside of the impeller and the shoulder
