It is necessary to disassemble and check the wear of the mouth ring and balancing device. Since this flow-over component is likely made of ordinary material, it is also important to check whether the impeller is damaged or not; replacement may be required depending on the findings
Measure the connections between various parts of the throat guide vanes to determine whether they fall within the scope of maintenance. Calculate the clearance of the balance disc’s balance seat. If there is no balance tube, consider installing thrust bearings. High vibration levels are likely due to poor alignment or pressure buildup caused by insufficient pumping capacity
