While researching, I found that rotary vane pumps have a maximum pressure difference; for example, the pressure difference for a 150L rotary vane pump should be between 4000–5000 Pa. According to the information available, in order to start such a pump, the pressure difference between the exhaust and intake sides of the rotary vacuum pump must not exceed this value. If I use a rotary vane pump to reduce the system pressure to 6000 Pa, then the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet sides of the rotary vane pump will also be 6000 Pa. Starting the pump under these conditions is certainly not good for it. Yet, in some pump systems, rotary vane pumps with a higher air handling capacity are used, and the specified maximum starting pressure is 10000 Pa. This does not match the maximum pressure difference mentioned earlier. I would appreciate an explanation for this

Check the working pressure of your system. Adding the working pressure difference of the Roots pump gives the start-up pressure of the Roots pump.
