Check the saturated vapor pressure of the medium and the liquid level height
It has no effect on the pump’s net positive suction head; it does affect the system’s net positive suction head, depending on the installation conditions and piping setup
NPSHa is determined by the piping, while NPSHr is an inherent characteristic of the pump; it is related to the design and has nothing to do with the negative pressure at the inlet
