Is there any experienced expert who can tell me how to distinguish between genuine and fake SKF bearings? Previously, the barcode on these bearings could be scanned to determine their place of origin, but now scanning it shows that no information about the product is available.
I consulted the manufacturer specifically about this issue, and they said it’s very difficult to tell without using instruments. It is recommended to take past usage experience into account and select qualified suppliers as a basic prerequisite for ensuring quality.

It is generally impossible to determine this by visual inspection or by listening to the sound produced when the bearing is rotated; it would be very helpful to see how some people repair the bearings before making a judgment. For example: friction marks, bracket condition, inner ring raceway marks, etc., but ultimately, without instrumental testing, it is difficult to determine authenticity
Generally, when a bearing breaks, it isn’t repaired – instead, a new one is used. But I don’t think the new bearings can be trusted based on visual inspection or sound alone. If other components are in good condition, then the duration of use seems to be a viable way to determine suitability
