Lining materials for centrifugal pumps

Industrial water with a pH of 6–14, containing few impurities; for the flow-through components, I am considering using carbon steel lined with plastic. What would be a good choice? pe? PVE? pp? . . . . Fluoroplastics seem to be a bit expensive.
It’s PP, right? It’s cheap. Fluorinated versions are a bit more expensive, but their corrosion resistance is definitely better than that of PP
Is PE not working? And PVE isn’t suitable as a lining material, right?
Yes. It seems that it’s not easy to use PP as a lining either; the pump body is entirely made of plastic
So if I want to line carbon steel with plastic, which one is better?
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene should be a good choice. Why must it have a steel lining? Can’t it be a fully plastic pump body?
Perhaps it’s due to considerations in the manufacturing process regarding the insufficient strength of non-metallic pumps?
It should be a shell with a lining; it can withstand a pressure of 1.6 MPa. The all-plastic version can handle a pressure of 0.6 MPa, with a maximum of 0.8 MPa
