A vertical barrel centrifugal pump in the factory failed. It is made of stainless steel and usually transports liquefied petroleum gas. When it failed, it could not turn the truck. The orifice rings of several impellers are worn. ; The secondary impeller and shaft were stuck very tightly and were difficult to pull out. Finally, I made a tool and heated it to pull it out. As a result, the impeller and shaft were strained. ; The most important thing is that the balance drum and the drum sleeve were locked, and they were finally pushed out with a hydraulic tool. The inside was very worn. I would like to know what causes this failure, thank you all.
There may be too many reasons. 1. Low flow rate, cavitation shock, 2. Foreign matter in the movement, 3. Inlet blocked, 4. Stator and rotor friction. 5. The outlet is blocked and the pressure is suppressed. etc.
When the weather is hot, liquefied gas still vaporizes, but the running time of this pump is only 27 hours in total, which is not a problem in such a short time.
The imported T-type filter is very clean when removed.

I didn't take many photos, sorry. The bearing was damaged when the second-stage impeller was pulled out. The first-stage impeller came out easily and could be pulled out manually. The second-stage impeller failed after being pulled out even a little bit. Then I used a hydraulic tool to pull it out, which resulted in strain... and then the third-stage impeller came out easily again. The dismantling master complained that there was a problem with the gap, and also said that the materials were all stainless steel versus stainless steel.……
