Our factory has a Sulzer SJD vertical condensation pump. The transmission medium: the refrigerant pump body plus the pump casing is about 6 meters long. series: There is a support tube in the middle of the second level, with a graphite sleeve as a fixation for the shaft, and there are about 20 gaps. Therefore, when aligning, should the meter hit the surface of the machine seal so that the motor back wheel position is in the middle of the machine seal, or should the meter hit the pump back wheel. But I think the meter is not accurate when it is measured on the pump back wheel, because the gap between the shaft and the graphite sleeve causes the shaft to shift in the pump barrel. Now according to the machine seal, the radial clearance error is within 5 lines, but the motor vibrates a lot. The manufacturer said it was a concentricity problem. After several attempts, the vibration value did not decrease, and the impeller was statically balanced. Which one is right?
It is recommended to install the motor on the pump body and test it alone to see how the motor vibrates.
At the same time, the verticality of the pump body, that is, the levelness, must be checked. Is the coupling rigid or flexible? The reason for the dynamic balance of the motor rotor cannot be ruled out.
Place the level on the opposite wheel to check the parallelism. If it is not perpendicular, check the manual. It should be quite high, about 0.2 to 0.0 mm/m. You can also ask the manufacturer.
Tried to disconnect, the vibration and sound are normal, the coupling is rigid.
There should be a gap between the mechanical seal static ring seat and the shaft that can be adjusted. Therefore, whether it is radial or end face, there may be a problem of superposition of centering deviations when hitting the mechanical seal surface. It is recommended to play the right wheel. If a rigid coupling is used for the opposite wheel, then there should be a stop on the motor and the bracket to match, which is equivalent to the motor being in a well-aligned state after it is installed. But is the radial displacement of the pump shaft too large, causing misalignment?
