It’s simply a modified version of the previous pneumatic diaphragm pump, and it can indeed be used to transport powders. However, the specific gravity of the powder needs to be taken into consideration, and its efficiency is rather average; for higher flow rates, other methods should be considered.
Producing titanium dioxide is a real pain in the neck – as a medium, it undergoes photolysis in contact with air and water, resulting in the formation of hydrochloric acid; this acid mist is generated in the workshop. If things don’t progress quickly, then preparation for corrosion is necessary, as its corrosive nature is quite strong. Most of the factories for this product are in Yunnan. If you’re dealing with powder transportation, there are pneumatic conveying systems whose power source is nitrogen or compressed air; in your case, it should be possible to use only nitrogen.
