The blades at the front end of the impeller have suffered radial fractures, with only a small portion showing signs of weld failure. I would like to ask the experts what could be the cause. There are wear marks on the outer diameter of the fractured areas of the impeller, which is likely due to friction with the inlet of the pump body
1. Check the pump body. 2. Check the operation inspection records
It looks like it’s cracking brittlely; is the material very hard?
Excessive pump vibration or the presence of foreign objects can cause the impeller to collide with the pump chamber during high-speed rotation, resulting in blade breakage. Look for the reasons from these aspects.
Welding defects or the lack of stress-relief treatment after welding cause the part to break at the slightest wear; otherwise, the motor will trip
