I understand the impeller mouth ring. Where does the pump casing mouth ring refer to? I searched the Internet for structural diagrams of centrifugal pumps, but I didn’t see any with the pump body ring marked. It would be better to have pictures and the truth, O(∩_∩)Ohaha~, thanks!
It is installed on the pump casing, opposite to the impeller mouth ring. Some pumps do not have a pump body mouth ring so you cannot see it.
There are two casing orifice rings, one at the front and rear of the impeller. The front one is called the pump body orifice ring, and the back one is called the pump cover orifice ring. They are both used for throttling in conjunction with the front and rear orifice rings of the impeller.
One centrifugal pump I know has no mouth ring, the WFB self-priming pump.

Are the impeller orifice ring 22400 and the casing orifice ring 22300 two-layered orifice rings that are set together? The one that contacts the impeller on the inside is the impeller mouth ring, and the one that contacts the shell on the outside is called the shell mouth ring? Please give me some clarity:handshake
It can be said that there must be a difference in hardness between the shell ring and the leaf ring.
Can you be more detailed? Are the shell rings also detachable? If they are both detachable, what is the difference in which one is made of harder material? I’m not sure. I hope an expert can enlighten me!
