Every time the shielded pump is started, the axial force goes through a process of changing from irregular imbalance to balance; during the period of imbalance, the thrust disc rubs against the thrust surface of the graphite bearing, and the shaft sleeve rubs against the graphite bearing as well. Until equilibrium is reached and the rotor floats, with no static friction. Every time the pump is stopped, the axial force also changes from a balanced state to an unbalanced state, and friction occurs in the same way. When the pump is in operation, flow fluctuations can also lead to an imbalance in axial forces. So it’s not the mouth ring grinder that affects the axial force. Rather, the axial force affects the sealing ring.
If the pump body and the impeller’s mouth ring wear out, pressure leakage will occur; first, the head will decrease, and second, the pressures on the upstream and downstream sides will change.
