Can changing 52 to 53 involve adding just one nitrogen seal, with no other modifications needed?
This requires consultation with the manufacturer; when designing the mechanical seal, the pressure tolerance for system 52 is different from that of system 53, and the pressure tolerance for the white oil tank is also different. It is not advisable to proceed with modifications without proper consideration
It cannot be changed; the mechanical seal is designed with a different pressure-bearing mechanism
It is not recommended to make such changes. Firstly, the type of sealing will change; secondly, the pressure alarm mechanism for the sealed tank is different as well. Lastly, it is also necessary to consider whether the white oil inside the sealed tank could contaminate the process medium.
