Dear colleagues, one of our factories has a 2000kw motor, as shown in the diagram. Currently, the foundation on which it is installed is too weak, resulting in resonance between the motor and its foundation during operation. If improvement is to be achieved, major changes to the foundation are necessary. I would like to ask fellow sailors: if the foundation isn’t altered (the foundation has already been grouted three times), are there any other ways to reduce resonance between the equipment and the motors? ? Or are there similar experiences or new processes for improvement?
How is construction quality controlled? Is there still a problem with the design?
With such a large motor, the mounting plate is of poor quality – the reinforcement strips are so thin; what’s the use of that? As a temporary solution, you can buy some double-headed bolts and use them to firmly press down on the top and bottom of the base plate, but this is only a temporary fix. It is recommended to replace the base. This base is completely useless.
