There is a circular storage tank, with six pump inlets arranged around the center at 20° intervals. The tank has a relatively large diameter. All six pumps are located on one side covering a 180° arc. Among them, two pumps exhibit low current levels and fail to generate sufficient flow. However, when these pumps are moved to other locations, they function normally. The inlet piping and fittings are identical; only the lengths of the straight pipe sections differ slightly, by no more than 3 meters. Liquids don’t crystallize easily. Has anyone encountered this before?
Try attaching a different pump to this port to confirm whether there’s any problem with it.

There are a total of six pumps. The problematic ones were moved to other locations, and they worked fine there. They functioned normally for the past two years as well. With the same equipment, no such issues have occurred on other production lines.
Swap several pumps with each other and make a record. It’s possible to determine whether the problem lies with the pump or the piping. If switching to someone else’s position helps, then switching back might also be beneficial.
If there are many pumps operating simultaneously, it’s worth considering the possibility that the outlet pressure of the other pumps is relatively high, preventing this pump from achieving its desired flow rate. In such cases, the outlet valves of the other pumps can be adjusted.
