I would like to ask the experts: what type of mechanical seal should be used for centrifugal pumps that transport high-concentration alcohol-based liquid mixtures? The system pressure is 5-6 kilograms, and the medium temperature is 90 degrees. Alcohol vaporizes easily, so cavitation often occurs inside the pump.
A double-end face configuration can be used, with water as the flushing fluid, following the Plan53A 54 approach

It is recommended to use the PLAN21+53A (or B) scheme.
Previously, double-end face sealing was used, but leakage always occurred; the liquor would seep out from around the mechanical seal
So what is the system pressure behind your double-end face?
