Dear sea friends: I would like to ask which pump is suitable for transporting liquid boron trichloride? Properties of boron trichloride: The pressure inside the container (usually a steel cylinder) is 1–2 bar, and its boiling point is around 13°C. There must be no leaks; it will hydrolyze upon contact with air, producing white mist and hydrogen chloride gas. Pump inlet pressure: 1~2 bar, outlet pressure: 5.5 bar. What are the properties of the medium? It’s better to use a positive displacement pump
The main issue is the low flow rate, only 1 L per minute

Is the sealing performance of metering pumps worse than that of magnetic pumps? But does it have advantages in terms of cost and maintenance costs compared to magnetic pumps?
The diaphragm metering pump has no issues with sealing; such a small pump isn’t expensive, and its maintenance is certainly simpler for magnetic pumps, which are \"building-block\" type and can be maintained on-site. Mainly because of such performance characteristics, centrifugal pumps are not suitable! If there are other constraints that require the use of a centrifugal pump, a vortex magnetic pump with backflow can be considered! There is another type of hose pump that can meet the requirements as well, but I prefer to use diaphragm metering pumps
