Look at the cross section for rust. Did it have internal defects before, such as rust and breakage?
Materials and heat treatment issues. The shaft of the pump is generally made of 45 steel and undergoes quenching and tempering treatment. In pumps that transport weakly corrosive media such as salt solutions, the pump shaft material is 40Cr and quenched and tempered. For pumps transporting highly corrosive media such as acids and alkalis, the pump shaft material is generally stainless steel such as lCr18N19 lCr18Ni9Ti. Those with higher strength include 35CrMo\42CrMo, etc.
How wide is your outlet valve opening? How much traffic? What is the outlet pressure? The cross section looks a bit fatigue-damaged. What about vibration during pump operation? 1. It may be that the pump has been inflated for a long time. 2. Low flow rate and high head are too high. . .
