For safety reasons, safety valves are installed on the drum; when the boiler capacity is greater than 0.5 tons, two such valves are required, and these two valves have different setting pressures – the one with the lower setting value is used to control the superheated steam, while the one with the higher setting value is used to control the pressure in the drum； Once overpressure occurs, the one with a lower set value will activate first, thereby ensuring that the superheater is not damaged. The safety valve must have an open valve cap to allow air circulation for heat dissipation, preventing components such as springs from deforming due to heat. The safety valve is equipped with a wrench, so that in case the valve fails to open properly, it can be manually opened to release pressure and prevent accidents. The safety valve uses a diaphragm-type design, which enhances its ability to balance back pressure, prevents back pressure from affecting the valve’s operating pressure, ensures reliable operation of the safety valve, and also allows the internal components of the valve to be isolated from high-temperature/corrosive media.
