During the operation of magnetic pumps, the magnetism may disappear or weaken due to situations such as idling; what are the methods to increase this magnetism?
It is irreversible; only the demagnetized parts can be replaced. But the most important thing is to identify the cause of demagnetization, otherwise even the newly replaced parts will face the same problem
In magnetic pump systems, the inner and outer magnets are usually made of samarium-cobalt; when the temperature exceeds 350°C, these magnets lose their magnetism permanently, and this loss is irreversible. Usually, a complete replacement is required; there is no other option.
The reason is that idling at the site caused the temperature to rise, and there was no material available to help cool it down
It can be magnetized, but a magnetizing machine is required; generally only manufacturers of magnetic steel have such machines
Do not operate above the temperature limit; replace it after demagnetization
It is recommended to replace the magnet. Considerations should be given to avoiding idling, and measures such as low-current protection and outlet pressure interlock protection should be implemented.
