Titanium and titanium alloys commonly used in industry – At present, there are 30 to 40 different grades of titanium and titanium alloys available for industrial use. These titanium and titanium alloys can be classified into five categories based on their crystal structures: α-titanium alloys, β-titanium alloys, α+β-titanium alloys, near-α-titanium alloys, and near-β-titanium alloys (see Table 0-1 for details). However, there are only about 10 types of titanium alloys commonly used in various countries.
