Synchronous gear removal

May I ask about the sequence for removing the synchronous helical gears of a Roots blower or a screw compressor: should both gears be removed simultaneously, or should the gears of the female rotor be removed first and then those of the male rotor?
Gears that are basically unusable can be taken apart casually. It is best to determine the positioning points before disassembly, and to measure and archive data such as gap measurements, so as to have it available as a reference for subsequent installation.
For the Roots blowers that were repaired previously, their synchronous gears were always removed and installed synchronously. It seems that it can also be removed or installed even if it’s not synchronized
Straight teeth can be removed freely, while bevel teeth are removed simultaneously from both sides; it is necessary to measure the relative positions before removal, and verify them again during installation
If questions are asked as described in the photos, then it’s a test for us. It’s obvious that the gear has been repaired. Screenshots found online are another matter.
The two gears are removed and installed synchronously. Separate disassembly can easily cause wear on the gears due to stress.
