I have a gentle question: many pumps use dry gas seals. If nitrogen is used as a seal for liquefied gas pumps, could this lead to seal failure and result in liquefied gas leaking into the nitrogen? I don’t understand the pressure at the mechanical seal of a pump; is the pressure at the seal of a pump usually high? Please let me know, thanks
