The first batch of boiler feed pumps for 2*300MW power plants exported by Kaiquan Pump Industry Group have successfully passed the acceptance tests, marking a breakthrough in the export of domestic power equipment. This achievement not only demonstrates Kaquan Pump Group’s outstanding technical capabilities in the manufacturing of high-end power equipment, but also highlights the strong competitiveness of \"Made in China\" in the international market. In May 2022, the Overseas Business Unit of Kaiquan Pump Industry Group took on a project from an overseas client to upgrade and modify the BB5 type boiler feed pumps for a 2*300MW power plant. Faced with this important task, Kaiquan Pump Industry Group promptly assembled a design and technical team to conduct on-site inspections. It worked closely with design institutes to finalize all details regarding product standards, dimensions, materials, and performance, and carried out a detailed analysis of the requirements specific to power plant systems. At the same time, it took into account the differences between national standards and international as well as local standards. In order to meet the strict technical and delivery requirements of the clients, the company made every effort to advance its research and development efforts. After months of effort, the technical proposal was submitted to the owner for review in October 2022. After more than a year of investigation and evaluation, by 2024, the technical and supply solutions proposed by Kaiquan Pump Industry Group were finally approved by the project owner and the design institute. The boiler feed pump in this 2*300MW power plant serves as the core equipment of the thermal power generation system, and its performance plays a decisive role in the safe and stable operation of the plant as well as in the efficiency of energy conversion. To overcome these technical challenges, the Technology Center of KAIQUAN Pump Industry Group, together with the technical teams at its subsidiaries, formed a R&D team comprising experts from various fields such as fluid dynamics, mechanical design, and materials science. Focusing on key objectives such as improving the efficiency of pump systems, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing reliability, they carried out intensive efforts to develop specialized solutions.
