【Haichuan Chemical Accident Update】Four deaths and one injury in construction work at a pump station in Ningbo, Zhejiang

At around 3 p.m. on October 2, five workers from Ningbo Zhongrui Construction Co., Ltd. were involved in emergency repair work at Pump Station No. 3 West of Cixi Drainage Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang Province (located in Chongshou Town, Cixi). An accident occurred, and the local police, fire department, safety supervision authorities, and housing construction departments rushed to the scene immediately to carry out rescue operations. To date, 4 people have died despite efforts to save them, and 1 person is still under treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
