Nearly 900 participating employees are working on the front line of the construction. The entire project construction has shown a safe, high-quality and efficient construction situation, marking that the project has entered the peak construction stage. It is understood that Sinochem Quanzhou Ethylene Project is one of Shijian Company’s key construction projects in 2019. Faced with an extremely tight construction period, the Quanzhou Engineering Project Department of Shijian Sinochem Group played a game of chess, taking the overall construction goal of the ethylene plant as the starting point, constantly optimizing the construction plans of each major, scientifically organizing, carefully deploying, closely focusing on the theme of "management innovation", taking "implementation, and achieving practical results" as the general keynote of project construction. Through resource integration and improvement of project transportation capabilities, it quickly gathered capable construction forces to invest in the construction of the ethylene project after the Spring Festival, laying a solid foundation for the smooth completion of various professional construction nodes. In view of the actual situation of rainy weather in spring in Quanzhou, Fujian, the project department paid close attention to safety control. Since the resumption of work after the Spring Festival, the project department has continuously organized a number of safety emergency drills to prevent electric shocks and falls from heights, and conducted safety management and control ability training for all participating employees, achieving full coverage of safety training and creating a safe and stable operating environment during the peak period of the project construction. In order to improve construction efficiency, the project department continues to work hard on improving work efficiency. At the resumption of work mobilization meeting after the Spring Festival, the project department proposed 7 efficiency improvement and management innovation plans, covering innovative and efficiency-creating measures such as magnetic all-position motorized welding, a full-process material and equipment management platform, information-based means to promote quality inspection, information-based management of welding material procurement and distribution, and welding QR code software application, providing strong technological innovation support for project construction. As of February 24, the project department has completed the installation of 3,000 tons of steel structures, hoisting 8 large tower equipment, and 98% of the underground pipe network construction. The safety, quality, and progress of the entire project construction are under control.
