Four super-large equipment units for Zhejiang Petrochemical’s 40 million tons per year integrated refining and chemical processing project, manufactured by Lanshi Group, were recently loaded onto ships at the Qianwan Port in Qingdao. Among them, the “three-in-one” reforming reactor of the continuous reforming unit is 96 meters tall and weighs 613 tons; it is the largest reforming reactor manufactured in China by Lansi Group, following the completion of the 40 million tons per year integrated refining and chemical processing project at Zhejiang Petrochemical in 2018. In addition to the \"three-in-one\" reforming reactor, this shipment also includes \"two-in-one\" reforming reactors, thermal high-pressure separators, and hydroprocessing reactors – all of which are ultra-large-scale equipment. They are manufactured in sections at LANXESS’ Qingdao facility, and after being welded and assembled at the Qianwan Port terminal by the mobile factory, they are shipped to the customer. New Gansu? The domestic equipment manufacturing capacity continues to develop.
It was an absolutely correct decision for Lansi to establish a branch factory in Qingdao.
Is there a keen interest in manufacturing such giant structures in China these days? Couldn’t the propane and propylene towers also be designed as separate sections? Why is it necessary to create a 120-meter-tall, over 2,000-ton structure that serves as a landmark?
