On August 18, the **Energy Group’s 2021 Social Responsibility Report** was officially released. This is the fifth social responsibility report issued by **Energy Group** since its restructuring in 2017. The report shows that in 2021, the **energy groups** built the first batch of large-scale wind and solar power projects, with a capacity of 13.9 million kilowatts – the highest among central state-owned enterprises. The capacity of new renewable energy projects under construction was 19.68 million kilowatts, while the additional installed capacity was 10.89 million kilowatts. The installed capacity of photovoltaic systems reached 8.6 million kilowatts, an increase of 4.1 times compared to the previous year. The installed capacity of wind power systems reached 49.99 million kilowatts, maintaining China’s position as the world’s leader in this area. The goal of installing 5 million kilowatts of hydropower capacity within two years was fully achieved. Renewable energy accounted for 28.6% of the total installed capacity, an increase of 2.7 percentage points compared to the previous year.
