The core technology of this pilot project comes from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The institute's expert team first reported this technology in 2017, successfully converting waste carbon dioxide into high-octane gasoline. Technical details were published in the journal Nature Communications in the same year.
