HaiChuan becomes even better with your involvement; we welcome everyone to participate more actively in the forum discussions. *********************************************On April 6, 2023, the carbonylation reactor for the ethanol production unit in Anhui CarbonXin Technology Co., Ltd.’s methanol comprehensive utilization project, which was EPC-general contracted by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., was successfully delivered to the site and installed there. With this, all of the core reactors for the project have been installed, marking its successful completion. There are a total of 4 carbonylation reactors. The total lifting weight of a single unit is approximately 670 tons, with a maximum diameter of 5.8 meters. Two were manufactured by Lanshi Heavy Equipment, and two by Hailu Heavy Industry. After the equipment is fully manufactured at the manufacturer located near the installation site, it is transported to the site using modular trucks.
The hydroxylation reactor is the \"heart\" of the ethanol complex, playing a key role in the production of ethanol. The weight of each unit of equipment for this project is 688 tons, with a maximum diameter of 5.8 meters.

The unit being lifted this time is the last carbonylation reactor; for lifting this equipment, a 1250-ton crawler crane is used as the main crane, with a 400-ton crawler crane assisting in the process. The equipment was lifted at 13:18 and, after three hours, was successfully placed on the frame foundation. With the final carbonylation reactor hoisted into place, the carbonylation unit now meets the requirements in terms of equipment and steel structure completion, creating favorable conditions for carrying out pipeline installation work ahead of the hot weather during the rainy season.
