Recently, the country's first 10,000-ton coal-fired power plant low-pressure and low-energy consumption adsorption carbon capture demonstration project was launched.* * The Zhejiang Company of the energy group has officially launched the project, relying on a 1,000-megawatt ultra-supercritical unit to simultaneously promote preparations for a 10,000-ton carbon capture demonstration. At present, the project has completed the development of high-capacity carbon-based physical adsorption materials and molding preparation technology and a 10,000-ton demonstration feasibility study report. It has the advantages of environmental friendliness and high energy consumption reduction potential. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to reduce the energy consumption of the capture section to 2 GJ per ton of carbon dioxide, exploring a new path for the energy industry to serve the "double carbon" goal and achieve green and low-carbon development.
