After over 180 days and nights of hard work and relentless effort, the gate valves used in China’s largest delayed coking unit passed the inspection by the client, and the first batch of products was delivered successfully. It is understood that the valve products delivered this time are electric cut-off gate valves for Guangdong Petrochemical’s 3 million tons per year delayed coking unit; there are 8 units of each of the CL300 type in DN600 and DN750 sizes, for a total of 16 units. As the gate valve of the largest diameter used in delayed coking units in China, the DN750 model can withstand a maximum pressure difference of 0.514 MPa and operate at temperatures up to 460°C. It serves as a key control device for shutting off the oil and gas at the top of the coke tower in coking units, and thus places very high demands on product design, technical research and development, and manufacturing processes. Lanzhou High-Pressure Valve Co., Ltd., thanks to its strong technical capabilities, solid brand reputation, and excellent market development skills, successfully won the bid for the electric cut-off gate valve project for Guangdong Petrochemical’s 3 million tons per year delayed coking unit. It received full recognition from CNPC East China Design Institute, China National Petroleum Construction Company, and the owner of Guangdong Petrochemical, thereby demonstrating its comprehensive expertise in manufacturing special valves for extreme temperatures, high pressures, high-alloy materials, and large diameters.
