During the ceremony, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s first second-generation 1500 Nm³/h high-temperature alkaline hydrogen production electrolyzer and its first third-generation 0.2 MW ultra-low energy consumption high-temperature alkaline hydrogen production electrolyzer were officially unveiled. By optimizing the electrolytic plates and employing current distribution techniques for thermal fluids, this product reduces the amount of electricity required for electrolysis, thereby saving on electricity costs. It features safety, reliability, and a long service life, and is at the international forefront in this area. It can be used in the production of green electricity and hydrogen, as well as in green chemistry and wind/solar power generation; it is a key device for the large-scale production of green hydrogen from renewable resources.
The first second-generation 1500 Nm³/h high-temperature alkaline hydrogen production electrolyzer and the first third-generation 0.2 MW ultra-low energy consumption high-temperature alkaline hydrogen production electrolyzer in the autonomous region to be put into use this time were developed jointly by the Department of Energy and Power Engineering at Tsinghua University and Ordos Guosheng Lihua Hydrogen Production Equipment Co., Ltd. They feature safety and reliability, a long service life, high hydrogen production efficiency, and the ability to adjust dynamically according to the required hydrogen production pressure. These devices can be used for the production of green electricity and hydrogen, as well as in fields such as green chemistry and wind/solar power generation. They represent key equipment for the large-scale production of green hydrogen from renewable resources, and play a vital role in promoting the development of the entire green hydrogen industry.
