On January 25, China National Chemical Engineering Donghua Company and Vietnam’s DAP Corporation (DAP-Vinachem) officially signed an EPC contract for a project aimed at improving the quality of phosphoric acid and producing 60,000 tons of MAP fertilizer per year. This marks another significant breakthrough for the company in implementing the “T+EPC” model and strengthening its role in leading technical development in the field of engineering general contracting. Nguyen Tuan Dung, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Chemical Group and Chairman of DAP-Vinachem, and Vu Van Bang, General Director of DAP-Vinachem ； Meng Chenzhou, General Manager of Donghua Company, and Wu Yuefeng, Deputy General Manager, attended the signing ceremony. Ruan Junyong highly praised Donghua Company’s extensive technical expertise and rich engineering experience in the phosphorus chemicals sector. He emphasized his hope that Donghua Company would deploy its best team for this project, organize work scientifically and carry out construction carefully, so as to create a benchmark project with advanced technology and reliable operation, while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule. Meng Chenzhou welcomed the arrival of Ruan Junyong and his party, and reviewed the history of cooperation between the two sides. He said that the 330,000 tons per year DAP project, constructed by Donghua Company in 2005, was the first DAP fertilizer project in Vietnam, laying a solid foundation for mutual trust and cooperation between the two parties. The successful signing of this MAP fertilizer project represents not only an important milestone in deepening cooperation between the two parties, but also a key step for Donghua Company in optimizing its regional business layout. The company will make full use of its engineering experience and technical strengths in the phosphorus chemicals industry to strive to turn this project into a high-standard, top-quality project. This project will utilize Donghua Company’s own technologies and domestically produced equipment; it represents the first industrial application in the Vietnamese market to produce MAP fertilizer using slag acid as a raw material, offering significant environmental and economic benefits. Nguyen Hoang Trung, Deputy General Manager of DAP-Vinachem, Liu Yurong, Chairman of Vietnam Chemical Industry Engineering Joint Stock Company, and staff from various departments such as the International Business Department, Project Management Department, Process Engineering Department, and Civil Engineering Department of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Donghua participated in the exchange.
