On December 6, the commissioning ceremony was held for the 120,000-ton/year 1,4-butanediol production unit of Gansu Qingyang Tongxin’s 500,000-ton/year light hydrocarbon deep processing project. The project is located in the Petroleum, Natural Gas and Chemical Industry Zone of Xifeng Industrial Park, Qingyang City, Gansu Province. It primarily uses clean resources such as low-efficiency liquefied gas, mixed hydrocarbons, and ethylene as raw materials for advanced processing, with the aim of developing C3 and C4 industrial chains. Upon completion, the project will further elevate the regional industrial level and boost local economic development. It will also reduce environmental pollution and improve resource utilization efficiency, making a positive contribution to optimizing the regional industrial structure and achieving the goal of green and sustainable economic development in the area. It is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of December 2025, with an annual industrial output value of 4.1 billion yuan expected.
