Recently, the 110kV substation of the Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) Acetic Acid Project, the world’s largest acetic acid production facility led by China National Chemical Corporation Tianchen in terms of total capacity, successfully received its first power supply. The successful completion of this key milestone has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent tasks of the project, such as power supply and reception at the utility substations, individual testing of equipment motors, and the commissioning of the plant’s overall control system, thereby enabling the project to be delivered in its entirety. This project is a key initiative under Guangdong Province’s “Hundred-Thousand-Thousand Project.” Its main components include an acetic acid production facility with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons, CO cryogenic separation and compression units, as well as associated utility systems and auxiliary facilities. Upon completion, the project will fill the gap in acetic acid production capacity in Guangdong Province, injecting new momentum into the local economic and social development, boosting related industries, and creating more job opportunities. Among them, the 110kV substation was independently designed by Tianchen Company’s project team. Despite constraints on floor space and building height, they innovatively adjusted the layout of electrical equipment, enabling the same building to serve both as a power distribution management system for the entire plant and as a power supply and distribution system for the acetic acid production facility. To ensure a successful and high-quality power reception at the 110kV substation, in response to the list of issues to be addressed prior to power reception provided by the power supply bureau, as well as the checklist related to the \"three inspections and four confirmations\" process, the various participating units established a joint coordination team. This team defined each party’s responsibilities and task deadlines, thereby ensuring that responsibilities were fulfilled at every level. The project design team, the consortium construction team, as well as the project owner and supervision unit worked together to carefully consider, meticulously develop, and continuously optimize the power connection procedures. They thoroughly checked for potential issues with the equipment, and established comprehensive protective measures for any possible risks associated with power connection ; At the same time, a thorough and detailed inspection was carried out on the control and protection system to ensure that the settings such as the protective device values and parameters were accurate. Under tight deadlines and heavy workload, all participating units worked together to ensure that the installation and commissioning of all equipment proceeded safely, smoothly, and under control. As a result, the quality control goal of \"zero defects, zero errors\" was achieved, and a successful power-up on the first attempt was accomplished. Next, the project team will maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a rigorous work attitude, thoroughly implement the group company’s \"135\" development strategy, complete all tasks on time and to high standards, further improve the efficiency of lean management, and steadily advance the project construction. In doing so, it will contribute to helping the group company create a higher-quality China Chemical as well as promote industrial upgrading in Guangdong Province within five years.
