On April 30, the first public consultation notice regarding the environmental impact assessment of Inner Mongolia Yonghe Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 10,000-ton/year expansion project for vinylidene fluoride (VDF) was released. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: 10,000 tons/year VDF expansion project ； Construction unit: Inner Mongolia Yonghe Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd ； Construction site: The existing plant area of Inner Mongolia Yonghe Fluorochemical Co., Ltd., located in Ulanqab Dorbet Industrial Park, Wulanhua Town, Siziwangqi, Ulanqab City ； Project nature: Expansion ； Construction contents: Add equipment to the existing vinylidene fluoride (VDF) plant: 2 new double-tube cracking reactors, 1 nitrogen heater, 2 reaction heat exchangers, 2 cyclone heat exchangers, 1 compressor, a light component removal tower, a VDF tower, a VDF recovery tower, and a fluorochlorovinyl chloride removal tower. There will also be 1 reboiler and 1 condenser for each of the light component removal tower and the VDF tower, as well as 1 reboiler and 1 condenser for the VDF recovery tower and the fluorochlorovinyl chloride removal tower. Additionally, 4 molecular sieve drying towers will be installed, along with various piping systems, instruments, and other auxiliary facilities. According to Yonghe Shares’ quarterly performance report, the company’s revenue in the first quarter of 2026 was approximately 1.324 billion yuan, representing a 16.37% increase compared to the previous year ； The net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was approximately 180 million yuan, an increase of 85.11% on a year-on-year basis ； Basic earnings per share stood at 0.35 yuan, a 40% increase year-on-year. The increase in profits is mainly attributable to rising prices of third-generation refrigerants and certain fluoropolymer materials, which led to an uptick in the gross margin. In the field of fluorinated polymer materials, the company continues to work on technological advancements and process optimizations for core products such as FEP and PFA, in order to improve the overall performance of these products in terms of dielectric properties, heat resistance, and stability. The Shaowu Yonghe high-purity PFA project entered the pilot production phase in October 2025, with related process validation and performance optimization efforts progressing in an orderly manner. At the same time, in line with market demands, the company continues to conduct technical research and optimize solutions for products such as PVDF, thereby driving the evolution of its product portfolio toward higher added value. In the field of fluorine-containing fine chemicals, the company focuses on key products such as HFPO, perfluorohexanone, and HFP dimer/trimer, continuously working to improve key technologies and conduct fundamental research on their application. It strives to build up its technical expertise and expand its product portfolio. At present, products like HFP dimer/trimer have entered the market development phase, with efforts to implement these technologies and promote them in the market being carried out in an orderly manner. In the field of refrigerants, the company is simultaneously advancing research on fourth-generation refrigerant technologies, with a focus on improving both environmental performance and process stability.
