On April 11, the Jintang New Materials project achieved a milestone breakthrough: the five giant emulsion-based silos, which are the core equipment for the project’s 1.2 million tons per year ABS production facility, were successfully lifted for the first time, marking the official start of the equipment installation phase. It is reported that the silo being lifted this time weighs 13 tons, has a diameter of 5.5 meters, and a total length of nearly 19 meters; it needs to be precisely aligned at a height of 15.3 meters. The construction area presents challenges such as a limited working radius (20 meters) and a compact spatial layout. The project team adopted the \"double-crane lifting\" method; after thorough evaluation, a 200-ton truck crane was chosen as the main lifting equipment, with a 50-ton truck crane used to assist in the lifting process, thereby creating a multi-level lifting system. The construction team repeatedly planned the lifting routes, organized multiple rounds of specialized safety and technical briefings, and conducted precise calculations of the foundation’s bearing capacity, all to lay a solid foundation for accurate installation.
