Recently, the first public announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment for Cangzhou Xuyang Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 230,000 tons of new nylon materials per year was released. It is reported that the project is located in the petrochemical industry cluster within the Gangcheng Industrial Park in Huanghua City, Bohai New Area, Cangzhou City. The project will involve the construction of a main factory building, warehouses, natural gas heating stations, and other supporting facilities; 4 production lines for new nylon materials will be set up, and 22 pieces of major equipment such as reactors, extraction towers, drying towers, and storage tanks will be purchased. Upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 230,000 tons of new nylon products, including: 70,000 tons of fully matte high-speed spinning chips per year, 70,000 tons of semi-matte high-speed spinning chips, 70,000 tons of film-grade chips, and 20,000 tons of differentiated nylon chips. As a **strategic emerging material**, nylon has seen its applications expanding in recent years in areas such as vehicle lightweighting, electronic information, and environmentally friendly packaging. High-speed spun slices are important raw materials for the high-end textile industry; fully matte and semi-matte products can significantly improve the quality of fabrics ； Membrane-grade sheets are widely used in high-tech applications such as food preservation films and lithium battery separators ； Differentiated nylons target the specialty engineering plastics market, offering great potential.
