Shuangyashan invests 2.08 billion yuan in a project to produce green methanol and green aviation fuel through biological methods

The Shuangyashan Integrated Project for Producing Green Methanol and Green Aviation Fuel through Biological Methods is located within the Shuangyashan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Heilongjiang Province. It was invested in and constructed by Zhongneng (Shuangyashan) Comprehensive Energy Co., Ltd. The project plan for the first phase includes building a green methanol production facility with an annual output of 200,000 tons, and a green aviation fuel production facility with an annual output of 100,000 tons. This involves constructing 1 green methanol synthesis plant, 1 green aviation fuel synthesis plant, a number of biomass pellet factories that make use of distributed wind power (100,000 kilowatts for internal use), a centralized wind farm with 760,000 kilowatts of capacity, and a photovoltaic power plant with 100,000 kilowatts of capacity. In addition, there will be a water electrolysis hydrogen production plant along with various supporting production facilities. The investment amount for the first phase of the project is 681,438 million yuan. The project investment amount is 2,080,000 million yuan.
