On October 13, significant progress was made on the second phase of Wanli Tire’s manufacturing facility in Cambodia, with the relocation and renovation of three key production machines advancing simultaneously. The second round of bidding has been launched for the renovation project of the rolling and extrusion equipment, while the shortlisting of candidates for the relocation works of the molding machines and vulcanizing machines has been completed, marking the official entry of this overseas project into the critical phase of equipment installation. According to the tender documents, the renovation of the rolling and extrusion equipment involves technical upgrades to three core systems, and a phased implementation strategy will be adopted: first, the technical upgrades will be carried out at the factory in Guangzhou, after which the equipment will be transported to the production facility in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia, for on-site testing, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the equipment meets the standards for stable operation. The project is still in the bidding registration phase, with 21 days remaining before the deadline. As an important pillar in the company’s global expansion strategy, the Wanli Tires Cambodia facility is located in the Sin Bao Yoe Special Economic Zone in Chau Doc Province. According to the master plan, this facility will be capable of producing 10 million semi-steel radial tires and 1.2 million all-steel radial tires per year. The ongoing Phase 2 project focuses on expanding production capacity for 6 million semi-steel radial tires; by transferring the core equipment from existing domestic production lines, it is possible to ensure uniform control over production process standards.
