The EPC general contracting work for the ammonia evaporation unit of the syngas purification system in Phase 1 of the 15 million tons per year demonstration project for clean and efficient conversion of coal into various products at Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. – specifically the olefins, aromatics, and advanced processing facilities – was completed on November 5, 2025. The public display of the candidates who won the bid ended on November 10, 2025, with no objections from any parties. Winning bidder: China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd. Bid amount: ¥87,700,000.00. The scope of the EPC contract for the ammonia evaporation unit of the syngas purification plant includes the ammonia evaporation unit itself, as well as the auxiliary systems and utility systems located within 1 meter of the boundary line surrounding that unit. The winning bidder is responsible for carrying out detailed design, preparation of as-built drawings, procurement, construction, system cleaning, chemical cleaning, purging, airtightness testing, individual unit testing, and handover procedures within 1 meter of the boundary lines of the ammonia vaporization unit. This includes providing technical services and assistance over a period of 72 hours after the handover until qualified products are produced, as well as technical support for joint testing, commissioning testing, performance evaluation, archiving of project documents, completion acceptance, preparation of fixed asset inventories, implementation of 6S management systems, and providing services during the warranty period to rectify any defects. Engineering management services are also provided, and all necessary corrections during various inspection processes and to obtain required approvals fall within the scope of work of the general contractor.
