The Linyi Steel Investment new energy and hydrogen industry base project has a total investment of 1.57 billion yuan. It is located about 1,000 meters away from Linyi Steel Investment’s project for the comprehensive utilization of 1.16 million tons of coal through dry distillation, thus creating a synergistic relationship between these two projects. The project integrates multiple application scenarios such as hydrogen production, storage, refueling, and utilization. Once completed, it will become the first large-scale hydrogen production base in Shandong Province as well as the largest hydrogen energy production enterprise in Linyi City, with an annual output value of 1.2 billion yuan upon full operation. Its primary function is to capture the coke oven gas produced by the surrounding coking projects; after purifying it into high-purity hydrogen, it supplies this hydrogen as a raw material for various enterprises in the industrial park, thereby helping to improve the quality of products and reduce costs in the chemical industry.
