On March 31, the 130-ton main framework module for the aromatic steam pressurization project at Hainan Refining & Chemical was successfully hoisted into place, marking a significant breakthrough in the project’s construction timeline and signaling the official transition to the equipment installation phase. This project is one of Hainan Refining & Chemical Company’s 17 efficiency-improvement projects this year; it achieves hierarchical utilization of energy by upgrading excess low-pressure steam to medium-pressure steam. To achieve the goal of \"early completion, early operation, and early realization of benefits,\" Hainan Refining & Chemical Engineering adopted a concurrent construction approach that combined \"off-site modular prefabrication with on-site prefabricated assembly.\" The main framework, with a total weight of 580 tons, was broken down into 5 prefabricated modules. Simultaneously, various tasks such as hardening the prefabrication site, preparing the structures, and setting up scaffolding were carried out, which reduced the amount of work required at the project site by 40% and significantly improved construction efficiency. The project team conducted precise measurements of the construction site in advance, repeatedly simulated the lifting process, and developed a scientific and thorough lifting plan. At the same time, strict three-level confirmation via forms is implemented to thoroughly identify any potential safety hazards that could affect the lifting process, ensuring the safe and secure installation of the main framework.
